Done. We all ran with Michelle across the finish line in Carbondale at 9:14AM. Official time is unknown at this time due to the delay at Georgia Pass.
The new legs from Glenwood to Carbondale were a nice change. Cameron started things off right by running his sprint leg (1.5 miles) in his blue speed skating suit, hood and all (pictures to be posted later). Claire and Tim battled some unexpectedly steep climbs and Sarah and Michelle cruised.
Everybody is sore, stiff, and happy.
Please check back for pictures.

Finish
It's 3:45 AM
Yes, we're still at it. Van 2 is on their way to the hotel for showers and rest. Van 1 is wrapping things up with their 3rd legs.
Weather finally cleared up. We have clear skies, cold temps, and a beautiful moon to light our way. Everyone is stiff, warm and happy.
Sorry, no photos at this time.

On our way to XP15
Rick, Ryan, and Mike all had fantastic legs. Weather is holding for Ashley whose on the road now. Adam is up next for 8.9 miles of pure frontage road fun.
More pictures taken by Van 2

Here comes Claire (in blue jacket) at the end of her grueling run over Georgia Pass.

Tim waiting for Claire to finish. This is Tim's 6th Outward Bound / Colorado Relay. Wow!
Claire finishing her run, and trying to take the wristband off with her teeth. Claire kicked butt on the hardest leg of the relay!
Michelle ready for her first run. The rain was starting to fall lightly, so she dressed for the weather. (Thanks for the jacket, Lisa!)
Still ready.

During some down time
Cameron was actually trying to get some work done today, so he may end up with a chargeable hour (or just a few chargeable minutes). Thanks to Cameron with his computer, we are able to post pictures to the blog.
Pictures from the start line
From left to right: Ryan, Adam, Tim, Cameron, Rick, Michelle, Sarah, Claire, and Ashley.
Adam looks like he means business with the clipboard, doesn't he?
Rick (with blue hat) is getting ready to go.
And we say our goodbyes and good luck to Rick.
Van 2 finished with the first legs
Claire is alive!
Eject error
Tim's 80's CD got stuck in the CD player. Crud. No more Flashdance for Van 2.
Leg 9 on the road
Tim C. started leg 9 about 4pm. Weather is still questionable as it looks ominous over Copper and Vail Pass.
Race on Hold (but we're back at it)
I just heard from Van 2 and the weather conditions on Georgia Pass were so bad that the race was suspended for 30 minutes. Apparently visibility was zero and the trail was completely obscured with snow. Search & Rescue was dispatched to check it out and re-mark the trail. As of this posting the race is back on and Claire is about 45 minutes into her 12.8 mile leg over Georgia Pass.
Sky is mostly cloudy near Frisco but the mountains look socked in. Bring it on.
BTW - the black bean soup was delicious.
First Van Exchange
Sorry for the delay in updates - technical difficulties but we should be up and running (literally).
Legs 1-3 went up to the top of Guanella Pass where we encountered 2-4" of fresh snow...and not the slushy stuff! Leg 4 cranked down the Pass (knee buster) and Leg 5 was a trail leg up to 10,000 ft. Trail was wet, muddy, and snowy.
We handed off to Van 2 and the sun was starting to peak through. They'll ultimately be running over Georgia Pass (go Claire).
Van 1 (where I'm writing from) is on their way to Frisco for some lunch and rest before we get back to it around 4pm.
Everybody's healthly, warm, and having fun.
Start
We're off. Rick started in G-town with a light rain. It's a bit chilly and we're heading into snow above 9000 ft
